Summer’s right around the corner. You can feel it starting.
The days get a little longer.
Schedules start shifting.
Kids are about to be out of school.
Vacations get planned and, whether we say it out loud or not, in the back of your mind, you’re thinking about how you’re going to look.
It’s definitely not like we used to think about it. We’re not 22 planning that last-minute trip to Cancun with the hopes of hooking up with the hunnies. But it’s still there.
You’re at the pool.
On the beach.
At a family gathering.
You catch yourself noticing. Not in an insecure way. Just awareness of it.
“How do I look right now?”
“Am I where I thought I’d be?”
